Kunming Travel Service (International) Co., Ltd. was established in 1981 and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kunming Tourism Group in 2005. It is one of the earliest tourism enterprises in Yunnan Province and has won various honorary titles. It was rated as one of the top ten commercial travel agencies in China and one of the top 30 travel agencies in Yunnan Province. It was rated as a five-star travel agency by the Yunnan Provincial Tourism Standard Rating Committee.
